The situation the OP is in is most likely due to a little of them being in too much of a hurry, but mostly due to people saying you will be OK. Well, there is some advice that fell flat on its face.
If you want to do a newbie a favor, do so by stating options at different price points. No one appinted you to be anyones financial advisors.
