Looks like a drop hitch places the cargo carrier or bike rack another 10 to 12 inches in front of the bumper. Combined with the Bodiak which extends a little further than a frame mounted receiver, the whole load is sticking out pretty far in front. That extra leverage probably reduces carrying capacity and will certainly make handling and maneuverability different. If I were going to spend the big bucks on a Versahaul (VH-Sport-RO) to haul around a motorcycle, I'd certainly chip in a little more to get a lower frame mounted hitch receiver. A nice Draw-Tite or Curt will cost less than $150.
Do you know who makes a lower front hitch for that year model Super Duty? I looked and the only ones I found came out in the center of the bumper. I have the Draw Tite which comes out in the center, as does the Curt. A lower hitch would certainly be better than a high/low attachment, but I never found one.
