Do your self a favor and look the trucks over at GM and RAM dealerships.
Why? he knows what he wants.
"It makes me wonder, are they traded do to problems? Also, is the lots loaded with 2015 diesels because people want them or because the dealer is stuck with them?"
That does not sound so sure to me!
I just figured you were pushing Ram as usual. Around here the lots have more of them because they are selling well. If my friends 2015 is any indication of reliability then they are doing well. He put his in service Feb. 1st hauling new campers to dealers. As of now he has 72K miles and is problem free. He is already thinking of trading and that makes me wonder about mileage on used trucks on some lots.
Cumminsv98 is addicted to the goat cool aid so you just have to take what he says with a grain of salt. :W
Back in April I was going to my boat storage down I10 and low behold I see another RAM pulling a 5ver broken down on the shoulder. About an hour later I go by again with the intent to pull over if required and the RAM was on a Super Duty F550 flat bed and a Chevy was hooked up to the 5ver. I was tempted to take a picture to share with cumminsv98 but you know what they say about karma!
The RAM was a camper hauler probably going to Camper World or Holiday World which was about ~6 miles from where he broke down. At least this time it wasn't a retired couple that I dealt with a couple of times some time ago.
To date I've yet to see a Duramax or Powerstroke broke down with a camper in tow and I see a lot of campers in tow on I10.
