We're talking about a brand new truck under warranty, where one of the stipulations of the warranty is that the truck's factory ratings have not been exceeded.

Here, Ford is selling an "accessory" for their F150s that will automatically put nearly all of them over GVWR before the driver even climbs into the driver's seat. Your Ford dealer is happily voiding your warranty for you, and documenting it.

The fact that the truck doesn't explode into a cloud of glitter and smoke when the camper is loaded is irrelevant. Ford gets a free pass to welch on ANY warranty work, and the customer happily pays for it!
