I did drive 1999 F450 but with 10' bed it was regural cab.
Still with 8' wide bed I did not expect to park it just anywhere.
It had shorter wheelbase comparing to newer trucks, what suck as I rarely could use 10,000lb cargo capacity due the hood moving to see the sky.
I think it was 2006 when Ford changed front suspension to coil springs, what shaved 6 FEET from turning radius.
Still my 2007 dually with 172 wheelbase require 3-5 points turns most of the time.
I mean I can deal with it, but adding long camper behind will not make the rig comfortable for driving in lot of areas. Supercab shaves 14" from wheelbase, not to mention some weigh from crew cab comparison. But try to find supercab on dealer's lot >> the only available are cab & chassis with very spartan options.
