If you want it to sound like a truck, put a diesel in it.

Many people want a truck to sound like a truck. They will not buy if it's too quiet or if the sound is wrong. Sound, or lack of sound, also affects peoples' perceptions of how the truck drives and handles. That V8 roar in the background makes the truck "feel" more powerful to certain types of people.

There are people out there who would describe the big EcoBoost as "gutless" if not for the V8 noise being piped into the cabin.

50000 miles would last me about a year and a half.

Actually the new mustang plays it through the radio, was reading a review on it and they said you would lose that if you swap out to an aftermarket radio. They only do it on the turbo 4 apparently.

Just not digging that grill....

The interior/center stack look really good to me. And oddly, I really like the look of the tail gate.

I think the sound (just guessing here) being pumped in is probably the same technology they use for the Mustangs which is really intake plenum sound delivered via a tube from the eng.
