ford v-10 milage
just curious: any one pull 5'er w/ford v-10 3500 srw what kind of milage do you get pullin & empty? Bil says he gets 15-16 empty & about same pulling.

- I pull a 13500 lb fiver with my 02 Ford F-350 Crewcab Dually with a v-10 and 4:30 rear gears. I get between 7-8.5 towing and 11 - 12 empty. Thats the best it has ever done.

Tell Bil to check again - most folks report around 9-10mpg when towing.

I used to get 6.5-7mpg in a 30' Class A with the v10.
My D'max, with a low profile light (9600# GVWR) fiver in tow gives me 12.5mpg.
No way no how will you see 15-16 towing a fiver with a gas engine.
