That's what I've been waiting for, pic of water, boat, equipment, and fisherman!
I've always been an avid hunter, but never cared much about fishing. Never had the patience for it, and was always last to catch a fish, if at all. Would be fun to watch a real fisherman haul in a 21 pounder!
I'd enjoy being out on the water, having a beverage or two, and drive the boat. I can get up early, stay up all night/all day, short term! I learned to water ski as a child, and got to be quite the expert/showoff over the years.:)

Chris thanks for posting as my picture posting doesn't seem to be working.
Also thanks for the compliment.
He lets me drive the boat!!!!! I boated for years, sold the last 33' twin diesel(Cummins 4BT150's) in 2015 and bought the 2015 RAM with the money. We owned this one for 19 years. Never had a major problem with it. About 2800 hours on the engines when we sold it, or about 23,000 nautical miles traveled.
Note: 21,600 nautical miles to travel around the Earth at the equator, you would have to travel (360 * 60) 21,600 nautical miles, 24,857 miles or 40,003 kilometers. - Cummins12V98Explorer IIIFirst fish is 21# and second is 10#. First one was a real fight!!!

Caught these speckled trout Saturday morning. Couldn't buy a redfish bite.
You should get Ron to take you fishing.
He wants to take me out later this week, he is 45-60 minutes away and wanted to leave really early in the morning. Then he offered shrimping again, but I still have some in the freezer from earlier trips. He is a master at Shrimping, crabbing and salmon fishing. cummins2014 wrote:

Incredible, I said if I didn't have a warranty I would not have had it fixed as it was VERY minor. But keep on making it more than it was if it makes y'all feel better.
8.5, 10 and 21# Chinooks make it worth getting up EARLY.
Caught a fair amount of Salmon, where you are now , and Alaska . Also some bigger stuff Marlin , and Tuna . And to be honest I wouldn’t trade all that fishing for my summers in Montana , and a 20” Rainbow or Brown on a fly rod out of the rivers , but just maybe a couple of those kings I caught on a fly rod on Kodiak Island . Didn’t care much for the gear fishing for Salmon . Especially the snagging the Reds , foul hook them , have to throw them back , its not the fishing I like .

Nice , never fished for those, or redfish .
TPWD reduced the limits from 5 trout 15" minimum to 3 trout 17"-23" slot through August of next year when the limits will go back to 5 due to the fish kill from last years crazy freeze.
Here's a couple of reds from my previous trip.- cummins2014Explorer

I am a hardcore Cummins fan, owned several of every generation since 1993-first gen. I have a 2021 3500 HO Aisin, there is plenty of room for improvement. The Cummins and the exhaust brake are flawless, the transmission not so much.
The Aisin isn't terrible, just not the ultimate transmission so many make it out to be. My 2017 with the 68 RFE wasn't really much worse when towing 15K plus. I don't know if that's saying a lot about the 68 RFE or little about the Aisin.
I am the odd minority that wants a manual transmission, I never had a complaint about any of the manual trucks I owned. I would jump all over a quality manual transmission option, I know those days are past and probably never see that option again in a new diesel pickup.
Sorry to hear that you're not happy with your transmission. I do love my G56 manual transmission, and it is really good with the double disc Southbend clutch. cummins2014 wrote:
