Ford/Chevy mileage
So I like the mileage our 2012 D/A gets with and without towing. We are looking at the Ford F350 with 3.55 rear end and wondering if the mileage is comparable or not.

What you are saying is not true. I don't understand all of the difference between 3.55 and 3.31 gearing
That right there is the problem. I tried to help, but you would do well to read the manual before discrediting others.
You'd do well to think before typing as well.
In your previous post you alluded that the different gears were negated by different tire sizes! That would make no sense to offer different gearing then.
Plus you inferred that the rim diameter somehow affects rolling diameter. (Because rim size doesn't have a dang thing to do with gearing or mileage. )
There are no different injection cycles either.
More silly rvnet babble....
It is hard to believe that there are those that cannot understand that tires of a larger circumference coupled with gearing that is lower by the same percentage gives an end result that is the same. Childish remarks show an even greater lack of intelligence.

If you are looking for mileage any RAM/Cummins/Aisin/3.42 combo will give the best mileage.

A Ford 6.7 has two different gear ratios available. With 18" wheels you get 3.31 and with 20" wheels you get 3.55. Both setups turn the engine at the same speed and no difference in mileage can be expected.
There is one exception, with the snow plow prep package you can get the 18" wheels and 3.55 gears. This is the best for pulling power and the front suspension will be the same on a F250 as a F350.

Ron, seems the OP still thinks Rams are his farther’s Dodge. I switched from Ford to Ram after 44 years as a Ford only owner. Granted mine is pre-emission engine I can easily get 20+ mph highway and 15 mph city. Just because it is only a six doesn’t mean it doesn’t produce big power.
Just curious why the OP doesn’t include Ram in his thoughts.
