Been reading a lot about the new 7.3 gasser from Ford and it certainly looks impressive. People are reporting 15 mpg non towing. New diesels with all the emissions **** are not doing a whole lot bet...

While I agree that I wouldn't like the idea of a brand new model in it's first year of production, this is also the first year of the new 10 speed tranny.
A second reason to wait two years.
On the other hand the most exciting time to own a new design is when the new model first hits the market. So by avoiding risk you miss out on some of the excitement. If you buy the new 7.3 and find after 2 or 3 years you've got some reservations about keeping it past its warranty period its not that big of deal to sell it and buy something new again.
Except the $25-30k it will cost to upgrade to something new....:B
