Forest River Rockwood 2604WS

We are looking at buying a 2014 Rockwood 2604WS. This will be our first RV, so we need your help. We all but signed on the deal but wanted to research the product more. We saw 161 complaints on FR's RVs and service on the Pissed Consumer website and were horrified by what we read. We are now re-thinking our decision. Has anyone purchased an RV from FR before? Did you have it serviced for problems? If so, was your experience? Please let us know your thoughts on this brand or model as we are ready to purchase NOW and don't want to make a huge costly mistake. ANY information would be HUGELY appreciated!!!

    We purchased a 2013 2604ws last year. I visited the factory and watched mine being built and was extremely impressed with Rockwood's quality control. I have had a few very minor issues all which were fixed by the dealer under warranty. So far we are very impressed with our Rockwood. My parents bought a new Rockwood 5th wheel and love it as well. No complaints here!

    I have purchased two Puma's that are owned by Forest River and had very good luck with them. You have to remember that FR builds many thousands of RV's every year. There are going to be some unhappy customers with any company when you do as much volume as FR does. I have several friends that have Rockwoods and other than some normal minor issues they have had very good luck with them.
