I don't really understand that either.
We paid $150 for the second year, and it made no sense to me at the time that I had to mail a form and a check for $150 to Forest River for something that they could easily add into the price of their rigs.
It did pay off for us, though. We had to have the flooring in our living area replaced during the second year of the warranty and that saved us something like $800-$1,000.
Overall, we've been very happy with our Rockwood and will consider another Forest River product when it is time for a new one.
