Forgot to mention the Ram 3500 is a "mega cab" with
the shorter bed. How will this affect towing?

I said same BED LENGTH, not same frame length. I had a megacab as my last truck...
The BED is the same CCSB or Megacab. The FRAME is the same length CCLB or megacab.
