that's why i bought a tow vehicle that is more than capable of towing my trailer. i didn't want to have to worry about carrying water or putting a 75lbs. of bikes/rack on the tongue. i've got plenty of capacity to do this. i always travel with a full FW tank so i don't have to deal with filling it, when i arrive at the campground. plus the water weight barely affects gas mileage, cause it's the trailer's frontal area that affect mpg the most.
too many people buy a marginal tow vehicle and have to not carry water and worry about every pound of weight. especially minivans pulling hybrid TT's.
