Actually your right on both accounts, I don't waste my time watching your links since they have proven to be useless IMO. Just pro ford or negative Ram.
Secondly yes the 5.9 injectors have had cracking issues on some. Again I point proper care for these. The OEM's were upgraded upon failure IIRC to a new Bosch design. Yes expensive fix if your over the 100K mile mark.
Personally I run an additive since new because of the ULSD change over when we bought the truck. Didn't trust it from the get go, too dry. We use this stuff

Anyway still OEM injectors after almost 10 years now!
Bottom line is we all don't service our vehicles like your next door neighbor, who does nothing but fill and go :B
