I went by the book and changed at 15,000 miles . I have learned my lesson , I will change my own from now on , with my wife's help as I suffer from cathedral syndrome , if I look up I fall down . If I work under my truck , then I can not stand up for several minutes . Its kinda nice as it gives me a chance to get even with my mean wife
I have the same thing. I have to stand up slowly after working under the truck. Doc called it "positional vertigo".
You might want to find a good independent shop and provide your own filters and fluids. - ACZLExplorerThough a Ram post, my filters got water in them 1st part of Feb and then Temps went waaaaaay south and subsequently gelled up on my '15 6.7. Unable to get into dealer, they suggested I go to their sister dealer who works on trucks (Lincoln dealer). went there and that's when I was told it gelled up. Total cost for everything would've been 350 bucks(100 for dia, 100 for labor and 1509 for filters). Told them I'm NOT paying 150 for filters or 100 bucks labor (1 hour or 8/10 as I was told that what the book says). Buttoned it up, drove home w/o any problems. Next day got filters from NAPA for 85 (retail was 114). Short while later, ordered 4 from Dieselfiltersonline for 50 bucks along w/oil filters. No shipping fees. BTW, having never done a fuel filter cahnge before on the 6.7, yes it did take me an hour, but now that I know what to do, next time should be 20-30 minutes.
- Grit_dogTrailblazerWow I would say the dlr totally took advantage of you. Sorry to hear that. If you were near, I'd just change them out for you to save you the hassle.
Another reason I can't stand car dealers. - wanderingbobExplorer III went by the book and changed at 15,000 miles . RAMs from 2013 onward have 2 fuel filters. A 10 micron fuel/water separator. Then a 5/3 micron (2 filtering elements) engine filter that also separates water. Probably the best OEM setup of all the trucks right now with 2 water filtering membranes and 2 WIF sensors. Just changed mine today as well. The filters are about 110 to 120 dollars for both in a kit.
I suppose Ram must have read Ricatic's problem child filter problem. :B
Sounds like a nice setup. - coolbreeze01ExplorerCurious how many miles were on the OP's filters?

genosgarage.com great place to buy. They know RAM/Cummins.
FleetGuard Stratapore oil filter $13.95
FleetGuard Air filter $27.95
Raycor fuel/water separator $54.95
Mopar NanoNet 3 micron $60.95
So for all the filters above $157.80 plus the oil of your choice = dirt cheap every 15K for a 13 and newer RAM.
All are OE filters mentioned above. They are painted and labeled Mopar at the dealer.
