A well trained "oil mechanic' at a dealer will notice other items that might need a peek. And, although we generally say "NO" to those (air filters etc), it does occasionally come to light that a problem might exist. We take those on one at a time when we find it.
Read my earlier post. How on earth do people think they are getting well trained people to change their oil? When I asked my dealer's service manager how many trucks went out of here with too much oil, his reply; "probably all of them."
One example of their professional work was when he gave me a free battery check with the oil change. Checked one battery and it was good, went to the other side and that one was good too. Can anyone guess what the problem was here?
