She stated she wants to "park it" and use it as a weekend get away.
Minimal towing.
I say take the freebie and get someone to show you how everything works...find a spot and park it.
Enjoy until it falls apart...after all...who cares? You are getting it for free.
Then...if you still like that lifestyle...you can look around for something else.
