It is not too difficult to disconnect the tank from the trailer.
There are 3 x 1/2" NPT fittings going to the tank (Supply, Vent and Drain). They unscrew from the tank pretty easily with a wrench. You don't even really need to remove the drain line as it is just a short pigtail.
The fill hose is connected with a hose clamp. Mine had some sticky stuff over the hose clamp. Loosen the hose clamp and the hose should slip right off.
There are 4 electrodes for the tank level gauge. I was able to remove 2 wire nuts to free the tank from the trailer.
Emptying the tank is going to need to be done no matter how you decide to proceed.
I consider the build quality of the Coachman on par with most of the other mass produced RV's in the industry.... JUNK!
