Not really sure what you are after here. I put the hose into my water pipe inlet, and let it rip. While it fills, depending on how much I know it needs, I can take time to walk about, but I listen to the air escaping out the fill tube air vent. When it gets close I hear the change in noise, and pull the hose out without overfilling.
The best way to put bleach in seems to be pour the bleach into the fill hose, then let the water into the end of the hose, and propel the bleach out of the hose into your tank.
What are you looking to do that is so different?
