Fridge on propane

When driving with fridge on propane do I need to have the main power breaker on to provide the 12v power from battery? Drawing a major blank. Had problems on the road last trip out.

The battery switch needs to be in the 'in-use' position.
Fridge needs 12v power to operate on propane.

I never shut off any breakers in ours, traveling or not.

12 vdc is on fuses, not breakers.
They are both. I have breakers, but there's no reason to shut any of them off
