I'm currently towing with my 2011 f150 ecoboost 3:73 max tow.
I absolutely love the towing power and great low end torque provided by this drivetrain, however I want a heavier truck with more payload capacity
Just a thought here but the F150HD has a 8200 GVWR and more importantly a 4800 RAWR with E tires and wheels and payloads up to 3000 lbs depending on truck selection. You still get the EB engines great mpg around town or work commute.
The 6.2 /F250 will make a stronger towing machine for the TT but IMO you won't like the reduction in mpgs.
Your F150 max tow has is a bit short with its 7700 GVWR and small 4050 RAWR with P tires and wheels.
