I absolutely love the towing power and great low end torque provided by this drivetrain, however I want a heavier truck with more payload capacity
Just a thought here but the F150HD has a 8200 GVWR and more importantly a 4800 RAWR with E tires and wheels and payloads up to 3000 lbs depending on truck selection. You still get the EB engines great mpg around town or work commute.
The 6.2 /F250 will make a stronger towing machine for the TT but IMO you won't like the reduction in mpgs.
Your F150 max tow has is a bit short with its 7700 GVWR and small 4050 RAWR with P tires and wheels.
While I've considered that I'm scared that the truck is physically too light to really manage a nearly 10K 35'8" long TT. The F150HD will pretty much perform near identical to how mine has been which is pretty good I guess but with virtually no real margin or at least not much more than my current rig. I currently run LT 10 ply tires too so I already have seen that improvement.
