well, I tried the F250 with the 6.2 and 3:73's (what they had on the lot) as well as the same truck with the 6.7 and 3:31's. The diesel has ton's of power but the truck with the 6.2 rode better, handled better, seemed to brake better and overall felt better to drive. The 6.2 has ton's of power, but its quite apparent that a good chunk of it is above 3500rpm, even then its smooth as butter and pulls very strong. I think I've found my next truck - now to find a leftover Lariat that fits the bill, if it doesn't have 4:30's I'll get them installed as the 13's are 14k off right now. Otherwise I'll have to wait until Feb./march and order what I want.
For anybody considering the two, drive both, I think you'll be surprised how powerful the 6.2 is.
