I'm leaning towards 4.10, but thinking that 3.73's would be fine for my 7600lb TT, I would imagine the heavier the load, the more 4.10's would pay off.
My 3500 srw 6.4 has the 3:73 gears. Ive towed 12,000lbs a few times and was pleased with the performance. My 38' tt tips the scales just over 11k, but I only tow it twice a yr as I'm a seasonal. I wanted payload (4000lbs) over towing capacity, so the 3:73's were a good fit for me.
