I have the 6.4 with 3.73 and tow ~8000-8500 lbs with about 2000 lbs of payload in truck and don't have any issues with hills or mountain passes. My wife on occasion has sat in front center for hour long trips without complaints, but that is definitely a personal preference and comfort.
Thanks for the info. Yes I would agree on the jump seat probably being just OK, for about an hour...and in reality that is usaully about as far as we are going on weekend getaways..
if we bring a friend on the longer trips I think she would have to drive her vehicle also.....which is actually fine by me as she is a nervous wreck while we are towing...lol
what kind of mileage are you getting with the 3.73's?
