I replaced my last truck due to future capacity requirements. I could have replaced my F250 with something similar, but wanted more options available when we are ready to upgrade the TC. If you know that your needs will not be increasing, the taller gearing in the Ram 6.4 Hemi will be fine with your current load.
If I actually planned to use the center seat often, I would also have chosen the electronic 4wd control. If decide to look at the Fords, they do not place a console in the middle with the manual shifter, but the transmission hump is still large and makes the center passenger hold your knees high since there is no place to extend your feet.
