If I actually planned to use the center seat often, I would also have chosen the electronic 4wd control. If decide to look at the Fords, they do not place a console in the middle with the manual shifter, but the transmission hump is still large and makes the center passenger hold your knees high since there is no place to extend your feet.
Yes, we looked at the Ford and my wife actually liked the interior better (the third seat up front actually has a headrest and shoulder belt) also the back seat is straight across without the silly cutout just to access beverage holders.
However the ford is much more expensive with the options I'm looking for and I really didn't care for the power delivery of the 6.2, at least not with the 3.73 gearing which by the math should have been closer to the 6.4 with 4.10's given the different internal trans gearing in the Ford.
