You hear about fading caps and you think it'll never happen to you - and then it does. :(
The thought of repainting the cap isn't exactly appealing on a 3 year old TT. Went out today and bought some Meguiars marine/RV oxidation remover and hope that will do the trick for now.
Anyone know if there are brands or types of waxes that are better at minimizing fade & oxidation? Would some 303 before or after the wax be good? I would have thought that synthetic wax designed for a harsh marine environment would be as good as it gets.
