Front cap oxidizing along the top. How to restore the shine?

Finished waxing the TT today and noticed at the top of the front cap it seems to have oxidized down about 6" from the roof line. Not sure why only there unless it's a result of dust in the air and th...

3M also make a really good marine wax. I have never used it myself but a buddy of mine swears by it. My wax preference has always been Meguiars.
