I once took my work truck in to a tire and alignment shop for a front end alignment, where they told me I needed all the front end parts and shocks replaced. I asked the service writer to walk with me out to the truck, where we looked together at all those parts, which were brand new! (Just installed by my mechanic, who did not have an alignment rack)
Not everyone is honest.
I hope you took it somewhere else for the alignment!
