Ever since my first Lance I have had HJ system...always worked fine, especially since the redesign attaching the front system to the frame thru the bed. I like the alignment front knobs...get it right every time.
The tiedowns are not to hold it on it is just to keep it from moving around and should never be torqued tight, just snug.
