Beware of cheap, bolt-together motorcycle carriers sold at discount stores. The metal is thin and light and they wiggle and wobble and come loose sometimes too. Go with a good, quality all welded one-piece carrier that is not built cheaply. You will pay more, but will be far safer and happier with it in the end.
