I also am going to build a front rack for my Honda 3000 generator. I like the idea of two mounting points vs. one and will probably fab up something using the front tow hook mounts on my 2001 GMC dually. For those of you using a " box " vs. a " cage " how do you know when you have enough cooling slots/openings ? My concern is summer temp's in the 90's and humid sure don't want to burn up a $$$ generator. A box is more secure and quiet but a cage much better for air flow. Not knocking anyone's design just curious about real world results in high temp's.
