My concern is summer temp's in the 90's and humid sure don't want to burn up a $$$ generator. A box is more secure and quiet but a cage much better for air flow. Not knocking anyone's design just curious about real world results in high temp's.

I agree with your concerns,
I am installing on the back, left side of the enclosure a 10" in 655 CFM blower (I'm using a Dayton 3VU71 ) that is powered by the generator when it's running.
In addition I will monitor the temperature in the box after I start using it to make sure that things are running normal
