Wayne's idea of removeable, slide-out panels is a good one. We have many 3000 watt Honda & Yamaha generators front mounted on cooler racks that operate on Assateague Island. Inclosed boxes will cause a seized engine rather quickly in just warm weather. Those generators are very quiet, can be hardly heard at the rear of the TC.
Your design looks terrific! Louvered panels for when underway, and an open all around, parked, seems like a good solution.
