If you go with dual receivers, alignment is critical. I have dual receivers in my Samurai bumper to connect my tow bar. I have to align my bar perfectly when I install it, or it it will bind. The issue is the bars being parallel, and pin hole alignment. It is good and solid, but sometimes a little drama to install. A little more clearance between the receiver and 2-inch tube would help.
