Front hitch weight capacity?
I have an aluminum tool box mounted on a front hitch on an F350. Do you think it is OK to put 275 pounds in the tool box? I was wondering what the weight limits are for the front hitch. Thanks

I believe my curt front hitch was rated at 500 pounds also. I carry my Eu3000 honda generator and 8 gallons of water on it + a few other odds and ends. The cargo rack probably weights about 80 pounds, so I am guessing about 300 pounds. When loaded on the front it reduces my rear axle weight by about 150 pds. Which for me is a good thing.
