Truck hauls a camper sometimes, tows 5th wheel flatbed and toyhauler, bumper tow trailers, gooseneck stock trailers as needed.
OEM shocks were replaced at about 205,000km with Rancho 9000 during a fit of "upgrades".
One Rancho 9000 died at 225,000km. (along with one of the rear) Warranty denied by selling dealer. Replaced with Bilstein whatever the correct p/n is for high cg loads not Baja 1000 racing...
Just coming up on 300,000 km Front right Bilstein is displaying double bobbing action when you stab the brakes at 1 mph coming to a stop.
Can't remember if any handling improvement was actually noticed with the aftermarket shocks - "back to normal" would be more like it maybe.
Logic suggests I should go to the Mopar store and put OEM back on?
You could utilize the lifetime warranty on your Bilstein shocks and continue to use them. They're likely better than the OEM solution.
