Have automatic stabilizer jacks on my new Coachmen Freedom Express Liberty Edition 276 2017. Have already had to replace one jack motor. Began to have trouble with left front jack. Would work intermittently and would have to use impact wrench to finish folding jack up or down. Since i live 140 miles from dealer was waiting to make an appointment when it would be convenient for us to go. This week when we were preparing to leave our campsite the jack would not come up even with the impact wrench. Had to take out the bolts in the side arm and bungee the jack in the upright position. Have an appointment so they can look at it to order the necessary parts on July 7th. I don't understand what could have happened to it to not allow the jack to be lifted up using the impact wrench. Also frustrated that 2 of the 4 jacks have gone bad on my new trailer.
I've never understood the logic of hanging electrical stuff anywhere around the bottom of a vehicle that is subject to dirt, grime, maybe salt and road spray and that includes electric steps, electric dump valves, etc. Things like these can probably be made to operate reliably in that kind of environment, but not at the price point used for the general public.
