Front Trailer Hitch to move camper

We use a parkit360 to park a 17 foot trailer in our backyard. The parkit360 does not work very well on grass. It is always a struggle. Someone told me if I install a Front Trailer Hitch on my truck this would solve my problem. I have You Tubed it and I think I will do this. Better than spending another $2000 on another mover & have the same problem.
Anyone do this & give there experience.
  • Front hitch is an option that will allow a tighter turning radius if that is the issue and the truck has to swing too wide to turn in the space available. Depends on the situation.
Had a side loader garage at a previous house and the truck could not put the boat in the garage going forward or backwards. Old jeep had a front hitch and it was just small enough to jack knife the boat in without getting off the driveway

  • I have a similar problem so I bought a Curt front hitch for my F150. I did my own mounting to the frame as the Curt system using the fish wire didn't seem very robust. I also bought a drop ball hitch, inverted it, and clearanced it for my license plate. I think I'm about 800 lbs tongue weight, you can see it collapses the suspension quite a bit
