Front window on out TT leaked, had nothing to do with caulk - there was not supposed to be caulk where it leaked. The rubber weatherseal around the inside of the window had a seam in the bottom. Due to the angle of the window, about a 1/2 inch of water would build up against the window. Water would work its' way up the seam, down between the window and seal, under the window, up the inside between the window and seal, and drip down inside between the layers of luan and plywood of the front of the TT. Had it fixed, and to stop the leaking had to caulk the **** out of the window.
We basically never open the front window shield, so I wanted it removed, but the repair guy said it would just be easier to leave it as is.
If I were looking at a new campers today I would not want a front window.
