OP, Both filters need to be changed once yearly or when the EVIC tells you to (should be around 15,000 miles). However, there have been some flashes for the EVIC as the EVIC has told some individuals to change their filters sooner than required. Personally, I buy the 4/2 pack from Geno's and buy an additional 2 fuel/water separators for the chassis. The fuel/water separator is actually made by Parker-Racor and Geno's sells both (Mopar and Racor). So go with what you want.
