Fuel mileage 2009 F-450 6.4L
I average 9.3 mpg empty regardless of speed and towing 15,000 lbs it gets 4.5 mpg. HD(?) 16,500 GVW 4.88 gears. Is this normal?

Trying to sell us on buying gas trucks?
I realize it's an F250 with a 4.10 rear end...but get just shy of 15mpg empty and 9-10mpg towing a 7500lb trailer with the gas V10.
