On a recent trip we had 50-60 mph. gusts one night, and we (mostly me)are over 400#.The wind was able to lift my bed mat and push it completely up against the cab of my 8' bed, at no time did I feel like we would tip over. Maybe putting your wallet on rear bumper will give you some peace of mind.:)
