My experience with the more Horse Power and Torque my '12 model has over the '05 model is it allows for a easier towing and non towing experience, but it's nice to have the power for acceleration when needed and for some of those pesky types who need to be put into their place. BTW... Last Sunday I drove one of our 7.3 Super Duty's and boy I sure wouldn't want to go back to that power level after being spoiled by the 6.7PSD. [emoticon]
I'm not saying take power out, I'm saying enough is enough. Also what you are saying is that they used aluminum panels to get their strength up to par with the other two of the big three and still keep it light enough to not get any heavier. Ford was already heavier than GM and Ram. So they have caught up with old technology. We will just have to wait for the next chapter I guess.
