Furnace fan and battery drain
When we dry camp in cooler weather, the furnace fan is our biggest drain on the batteries. Short of going without heat, how do you keep the furnace fan from depleting the batteries below 50 percen...

Only thanks to mats between plates it can be used sideways, so if that is what you need in your TC, than you spend your money wisely.
I had the situation with battery running low at 4 AM and truck starting. I don't stay without hookups very often, so buying additional battery for 1 in 2 years situation doesn't make much sense.
So my idea is to use truck dual batteries for such occurrence.
Obviously you don't want to do it without back-up and the $150 inverter generator HD was selling is perfect backup.
