Fuse question

Ok first off I am trying to help a friend who just bought a 2006 Thor (Duthcmen?) Adirondack 27 FB-DSL. We are texting to trying to solve the following problem.
He has a 15 amp fuse that was blown. There was a red LED light that I am assuming indicated the bad fuse. He replaced the fuse but the light stays on. He says the fuse is labeled "Option 2" but he also said it was not clear writing on the label. He can't tell what the fuse goes to. When he pulls the fuse he can't tell what shuts off. He said when he replaced the bad fuse the other lights and AC "dimmed". I am thinking this fuse is for a relay or maybe the battery charger/converter. Any ideas what this is for?

    I know how to troubleshoot a 12v circuit and I know if he leaves he fuse out at some point he will find what the circuit goes to. The reason for the original question is to see if anyone else has a similar TT that they can tell me what "option 2" circuit maybe for. I am at a disadvantage as my fiend is several hundred miles away and has limited mechanical skills.

    I Have 2008 Dutchman and the fuse for the light over the dinning table blew. Yes the red light indicates it is blown. This fuse also took out the fan for the AC fan. Make sure every thing is off when you replace it.

    Remove the fuse from the socket showing the red light. Leave it out and continue operating the trailer. You will soon find something that is not working. At the same time put a volt meter on the battery posts while plugged into shore power. You should see charging voltage of 13.5-14.5 volts. That would rule out the battery charging section of the converter. Go ahead and operate everything you can find on the trailer, one at a time until you find what isn't working. The factory should have labeled each circuit to help diagnose the problem. Being a fuse means that it is a 12 volt circuit. 120 volt circuits have circuit breakers.

    Doubtful the fuse is good.

    Disconnect all 12v draw items, including the battery/s and power with shore power. If a new fuse remains good, the problem is probably the battery being so discharged or shorted, the converter is drawing too much power.

    You can verify if the converter is working by using a meter to the output leads of the converter. The converter should output in excess of 13V.

    You may have blown the new fuse immediately. You may be correct that the fuse powers the converter. Try turning off everything that you can and try a new fuse. If the light stays off, then turn things back on one at a time to see which fixture has the problem.

    If the LED is still on, the new fuse is either bad, or not making a good connection.
