My DW and I have had a similar discussion in the past. Our 5th wheel is over 20 years old. We both would like to get a new one but like our existing one and haven't found anything we like better.
Recently we decided to just do some upgrades and live with this 5th wheel until it falls apart around us. Carpet comes out and new hardwood or laminate flooring goes in along with a couple of other improvements.
With our recent upgrade to a Chevy C4500 diesel to tow it with, it's a lot easier to take it wherever we decide to go.
