So you support someone being a hypocrite telling others that they should reduce their carbon footprint while they fly hundreds of thousands of miles on a private jet because they don't want to fly with other people and blast hundreds of kerosene rockets into the air because they don't want to spend the money on the fuel that emits significantly less pollution like what NASA uses. Not only that, but lobby for higher carbon taxes on companies so they can make more money on the backs of consumers on top of lobbying for more tax credits. I would be against anyone being a hypocrite like this, not just people named Elon.

If Elon was not being a hypocrite on these topics doing the very thing he is telling other people they shouldn't do, then I would have nothing against the man or his company. If he never chastised others on their carbon footprint, stated that the main purpose of building his cars was for better performance(like Porsche does with the Taycan), and did not try to increase carbon tac on companies just so he could get more money, then I would have nothing against him living the lifestyle he does. My problem is with the act, not the person and I don't give him a pass regardless of whether I am a fan of them or their products or not.
